Glen Ellis Falls – The White Mountains

As we are all still in quarantine mode, I am taking time to review pictures from last summer when Romi and I took a short trip up to the White Mountains.

These three pictures are of Glen Ellis Falls located in Jackson, New Hampshire within the White Mountains National Forest. The fall is a 64-foot plunge from the top to a nice deep pool at the bottom.

This location is easily accessible and has a nice walkway with many areas to stop and take pictures. The walk down to the bottom is easy with stairs to assist. The walk up on the other hand will get your heart pumping but it is worth the trip.

One of my photography goals and hopefully starting this year is to explore and photograph many of the water falls in the New England – stay tuned.

All three pictures were taken with a 24-70mm and shot at the widest 24mm. I wish I had my 17-40mm for a wider shot, but you make do with what you have. My first shot is taken on the way down the trail, the second shot is at the top and the final shot is from the bottom looking up.
