A non-photo trip vacation – but it was Bar Harbor.
As I sit in my house this Sunday morning (3/15/2020) staring out the kitchen window at a beautiful sunrise, although a bit nippy (low 30s), the beauty of the sunrise turns all the noise and craziness of the worlds current events to a blur and a low hum. What does come through loud and clear are memories of how beautiful the world around us is.
Late last September, Romi and I took a long weekend trip up to Bar Harbor, Maine. Once we arrived, we slowed our pace and took our time as we walked around the quaint town visiting (I think) every store and sitting on the park benches to let our eyes soak in the beauty of the island’s coastal views. The sunrises were stunning and at sunset, it seemed the rest of the world was coming to visit as cruise ships would enter the harbor to set anchor, and their passengers prepared for their next day’s visit.
